My name is Lauren. I have the benefit of hands on experience for 5 years in domiciliary care. I am very caring and compassionate. I have a very bubbly personality and always listen to what your needs are and what you will want from me. Relationships with my clients are very important to me. I will always endeavour to go the extra mile.
I enjoy being a Carer because it provides me with the best job satisfaction I could ever ask for from any job. I get on really well with all my other clients. We all have a good chat at every visit and finish with lots of laughing. I will always make you feel comfortable. I am in your home and respect that you like things done the way you like it to be done. I am happy to have a chat with anyone and their family before you commit to taking me on. I provide all personal care, showers as long as it’s safe for you to shower. I have my full care certificate plus many more qualifications on top of that. I have my adult and paediatric first aid training. I am epilepsy trained as well as trained with peg feeds and controlled drugs. I can hoist and use all other equipment. I also can do catheter bags. I have trained in all mental capacity acts. Certificates can be provided. Clients I have worked with include dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, bed bound, learning disabilities, epilepsy, heart conditions and many more! I also do shopping calls with clients and and happy to clean and tidy. I am fully insured.

Having used Lauren for my MIL’s care I would not recommend her. She is consistently late and on several occasions has not turned up at all. My MIL felt very anxious in her presence and asked us to find someone else. She is rude when confronted with issues and there where many. She also charged for 2 hours of care but only actually gave 1 hour care. I admit that this was an error in my booking for the month but if she was booked for 1 hour then she should have either questioned it or gave the full 2 hours care.
